Phnom Penh Mapping Meetup #17 – Photos and Presentations

The PPMM #17 was a huge success. We had two every engaging presenters and 36 participants, 10 of which are students. The ODC Team would like to thank everyone who showed up, despite the pouring rain, and participated. We were able to accommodate one participant who had wished to view the presentation online, via Skype. This experience encourages us to live stream our future events. Many thanks to Mathieu for recommending streaming options.

Students, you have asked for the presentations on how to mentor student mappers. Request granted. With Bernd’s permission, we are delighted to share with you his presentation slides.

We have received e-mails asking for a copy of Dr. Tri’s presentation. If you have missed Tri’s presentation or should you wish to revisit the slides, you may download the .pdf version of the slides here.

Please do send us your follow-up questions, if you have any. Should you be interested in continuing your discussion with our presenters to collaborate on either mentoring or conducting a Hydrodynamic modeling workshop in the future, please let us know. We will be delighted to make an introduction for you and get the discussion started.

For July’s mapping meet-up, let’s revisit the wish list (suggested topics for the PPMM) and start brainstorming. As always, should you wish to help make the mapping meet-up better, please send us your suggestions.

Best,

The ODC Team
